On Thursday, March 17, 2016, President of the association of Licensed Private Security Practitioners of Nigeria led a 6-man strong delegation on an official visit to the office of the to the chief of Army staff, who was represented by

BRIG GEN GO ADESINA – DEPUTY DIRECTOR CMA LAISON,
COL OA FADARO – DEPUTY CMA LIASON
COL AA NGURU- DEPUTY DIRECTOR FUTURE PLANS
CAPT NU UKACHUKWU – DESK OFFICER HUMAN RIGHT.
The meeting was at the instance of the ALPSPN President Mr Akhimien Davidson who sought an opportunity to extensively discuss the existence of ALPSPN, as well as present ALPSPN position on key national issues to the COD.
At the start of the meeting at 2:00 pm, after the introductions, the president Mr Akhimien Davidson delved straight into presenting the associations case before The chief of army staff.Specifically, the ALPSPN President said, among other things.
SECURING SYNERGY BETWEEN THE TWO BODIES – which entails exploring areas of collaboration mostly in the Northeast IDP camps schools etc
CONGRATULATE THE ARMY- In the theater of operations and also for the creation of the establishment of the civil military affairs CMA.
MJ Gen RI Nicholas, however, acknowledged that there was no doubt at all about the importance of APLSPN. He went further to say:
“…That the association should work more and endeavour to remove quacks in the ALSPN, and that the association could be a force multiple by taking over some duties in the liberated zones. Because the Nigerian army cannot cover all zones.
And finally, that the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF would very happy of the associations visit.
